Core Values

SCRIPTURE – We value God’s Holy Scripture. We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God. We believe that it is without error and that it contains all things necessary to lead us to salvation in Him. We believe that God’s word is absolute truth and it is the foundation of everything taught and believed at RCCN.
(Luke 24:44-47, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 2 Timothy 3:15-17 & 2 Peter 1:20-21)

SALVATION – We value God’s Gift of Salvation. We believe that everyone is a sinner and that sin separates us from God. We believe that God sent His Son Jesus to earth in order to be sacrificed for our sinfulness. His sacrifice allows us to be forgiven and to begin a new relationship with God. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9&13)

SABBATH – We value the Sabbath . It is important that Sunday be used for rest, family, fellowship of believers and spiritual growth through the attendance of corporate worship & teaching. (Exodus 20:8-11 & Isaiah 58:13-14)

STEWARDSHIP – We value Stewardship. We believe that God is the owner of everything and we are simply His managers. We believe that God’s Kingdom is built through the giving of our tithes, our time and our talents.
(Malachi 3:8-12, 2 Corinthians 8:1-15; 9:6-15, 1 John 3:16-18)

SERVANTHOOD – We value Servanthood. We believe that God has called all of us to a life of service to one another. We believe that every Christian should be active in serving both the body of Christ and the world. (John 13:1-17)

SHARING – We value Sharing our faith. We believe that the world is lost in sin and that God has called all of us to share His gospel with them. We believe that every Christian should actively seek to learn how to better share their faith and to build relationships with those who need to hear the gospel of Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)

SPIRITUAL GROWTH – We value Spiritual Growth. We believe that God has called all of us to a life long growing relationship with him. We believe in the act and process of sanctification in which God works us into holy people. We believe that spiritual growth is the responsibility of the individual believer and is fostered by the church through small groups that include Prayer, Biblical Study & Accountability. Philippians 3:12-14 & Acts 2:42-47)
