Lent 2019

The Lenten Season has officially begun.  You are encouraged to make it a priority to worship with us each Sunday as we embark on a new sermon series entitled “The Revolution”, in which we will investigate the Gospel of Luke along with Acts.

Also, please prayerfully consider adding one or more of the following Lenten traditions to your daily schedule:

  • Scripture Reading – use the Bible reading plan and spend time with God’s word each and every day.

  • Silence & Prayer – Set aside several minutes for prayer and silence with an emphasis on listening.  Focus upon what you have been reading & learning in Scripture.

  • Fasting – Intentionally lay aside a meal, specific food, object or habit.  Each time you desire or “hunger” for this item, pray that God would fill and fulfill you with His Spirit.
