Welcome

Welcome to the Reed City Church of the Nazarene.  Thanks for choosing to worship with us today.  May God fill you with His presence as you seek Him this morning.

Pastor Chris DeMott will share a message from Romans 12:9-13 entitled, “The Real Thing.”

We would like to know you were here today - please connect with us:

PRAYER

Join us as we pray for the following...

That we would more clearly reflect Jesus Christ in our desire to fully submit to God’s will.
Special focus:
That those who do not know God personally would open up their lives to Him.
Health Issues: Ruth Ford, Ez Sims, Nick & Shirley Scholten, and Doris Bittner.
This week’s * families/individuals: Rigo Ortega Family, Mark & Sonya Hudson, and Todd & Karie Juengel.

* Our church family is very important to us and so we choose to remember a few families/individuals each week in prayer.

Please share with us God’s activity in your life and how our Pastoral staff can pray for you.

ANNOUNCEMENTs

Back to School Supplies

We have an opportunity to bless foster families in our community by providing school supplies for their children to be distributed at Eagle Village’s annual “Back to School Picnic.” Donations will be collected in the back of the Worship Center through Sunday, August 4th. Bookmark lists of suggested supplies are available on the collection table.

Power Up Day Camp

Mark your calendars now for a three-week series off ntergenerational worship and activities beginning August 11, focused upon the truth that in 2 Peter 1:3, “God’s power has given us everything we need to live a godly life.” Power Up is more than a new sermon series, it is a multi-faceted event designed to help all of us learn about and live in God’s power.  Plan to stay for a meal and continued activities in the afternoon following the family Worship service each of the three Sundays.

Ladies Brunch

All ladies are invited to enjoy brunch together at The Rock at FSU on Wednesday, July 24 at 10:00am. Meet at the church at 9:30am to carpool or meet at The Rock. Please sign up on your Connect Card or contact the church office to sign up.

Family Camp Book Collection

Donations of current, gently used Christian books are being collected to support our Northern Michigan District Women’s Ministries at Family Camp.
