This morning is the sixth Sunday of Lent and on this day we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Pastor Austin Hill will be sharing a message from Mark 11:1-11 entitled “Broken Stones. Withered Trees.”
Pre-Service Communion - Our pastors will be available to serve any who would like to receive communion prior to this morning’s worship service. Communion will be available each Sunday during Lent.
We would like to know you were here today - please connect with us:
Join us as we pray for the following...
Special focus: Eagle Village residents, staff and Chaplain.
Health Issues: Vernice Berton, Evelyn Ruppert, Ez Sims, Nick Scholten, and Doris Bittner.
This week’s * families/individuals: Chad Saxton Family, Alice Selfridge, Wes & Debbie Meyers, and Pam Handy Family.
* Our church family is very important to us and so we choose to remember a few families/individuals each week in prayer.
Please share with us God’s activity in your life and how our Pastoral staff can pray for you.
Next Sunday is Easter and it will be our privilege to celebrate the baptisms of some within our church family! Please come ready to hear their stories and ready to applaud God for all that He has & is doing. Also, it’s not too late for you to consider baptism. Please contact one of our Pastors if you would like to learn more about what Baptism means and why you should participate.

Following are some ways you can prayerfully consider being involved with the RCCN Garden Ministry this season:
These are 4X8 raised beds that will be "stewarded" by various individuals, families, and/ or groups. These beds will consist of one crop at a time. For example, say three rows of bush beans, or 6 rows of carrots, or two rows of peas. This approach will hopefully bolster success and confidence in caring for one crop at a time, while keeping things simple. There are Irrigation lines on a timer to help water. Stewardship responsibilities are planting, weeding, observation, and harvesting.
It is our hope to have laying hens within the garden fence this year. They will be housed in a “chicken tractor coop.” Our goal is to have the hens boost our soil, help control pests, and produce tasty eggs. Stewardship responsibilities include scheduled weekly visits to the hens, feeding, watering, and observation. We need people interested and available to help to make this new adventure happen!
Beautification and Fellowship Stewardship
It is our goal this year to "beautify" the garden space with flowers, picnic areas etc. While also hosting church potlucks, bonfires, and outdoor activities. It is our hope that we can create a space where family and friends can gather for some quality time outdoors—creating a community atmosphere. Stewardship responsibilities include being creative, helping plant flowers, decorating, inviting, and hosting.
Personal Grow Boxes
These are 4X8' raised beds available for families or individuals to grow food for themselves. They are available on a first-come first-served basis.
If you have already expressed your interest, you will be contacted soon! If you would like to be involved and have not yet expressed your interest please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call Mallory DeMerell (989) 560-8065.
